Welcome to Cyberinfrastructure Tutor, or CI-Tutor, the web-based training site for High Performance Computing and Cyberinfrastructure topics. This resource is hosted by the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Everyone is welcome to take the courses offered but you must register first. Please note that we only use your login information to track the number of registered users of this site. Your privacy will not be compromised in any way.

To register, select the "Register" tab and complete the form displayed. After creating a "Login Name" and "Password" you can immediately login and access the courses offered.

To view a list of courses offered, select the "Browse Courses" tab.

Note: You do not have to have access to TeraGrid resources to do the CI-Tutor exercises that use MPI. Follow these instructions to install and run your favorite implementation of MPI on your own workstation.

NOTE: There is currently a problem with the course navigation when using Internet Explorer 6.0 to access CI-Tutor. Please use a newer version of Internet Explorer or another browser. Firefox is recommended.
